Open Relationships... Advice please?

Open Relationships, what are some common other rules:

1) Completely honest to eachother about things.

2) No one that we have relations with (friends, family, co-workers, etc)

3) You never go back for seconds only if you both agree on it

4) No exchanging of numbers or getting personal (asking bout the person life and blah blah blah just strictly sex) unless we both agree on it

5) Our relationship as a couple comes before anything else

6) SAFE SAFE SAFE

7) no dates or other meaningful things that you only do with a partner.

8) at the end of the day we come back to each other and that is it.

9) check in with each other regular to see whether we are still comfortable with it or need to change anything

Thank you in advanceOpen Relationships... Advice please?

Open relationship never work! ( Just a friendly side effect)Open Relationships... Advice please?
Not exactly open but my husband and I are swingers.

Those rules are mostly fine, but the biggest things are:

Safety

Respect

No means no. Don't be afraid to say it, and respect it if you hear it.

and I second the observation that it's not for everyone. Actually, it's not for most people.
Well the thing is....they usually don't work...when I was in the life style it sucked...

Sex I know can be had without feelings...however jealousy is never far away from sex...

So, in this relationship we don't share ourselves with others...

Good luck..

By the way...Rules are made to be broken...well by most
Don't do it....it is not safe and there is no real honesty in this kind of relationship. And diseases can be lied about because you do not know the people you are being with....really do you want this?
You need to start with a swingers club. They have all those rules and everyone abides by them. Sex is much too important to be left to amateurs.
Best advice I'd have is simply ';don't.';
My advice, it's not for everyone.
