Stuck in a sticky relationship situation, i need some really good advice.?

OK I have known this guy since i was 6 years old, he is 2 years older than me, and we have always been good friends. We both like each other and we admit that we like each other, but at the same time he dosn't act interested. I am 18 and he is 20, We hadn't talked in a while and I just got out of a bad relationship, I flew 2000+ miles to come up and stay with him. We share a bed, but he introduced me to his family as a ';friend';, He has never been in any long-term relationships, I am thinking that this might be why he acts uninterested. I have known him for such a long time, we have a bunch of childhod memories together. I ended up moving away rom him when i was about 9-10, but we kept in contact and i visited every few weeks. When I moved halfway across the U.S from CA to TX, we lost contact for a while, not much has changed with him, but now he lives in CT, which is where I flew up to, I am here now. I guess what I am trying to ask is, why is it that he says he likes me yet he hasn't made a single move to kiss me, and introduced me as a ';friend';, oh and I also found condoms that he bought a couple of days after i got here. Is it possible he is trying to play me? I don't see him ever doing that, i mean why would he offer for me to come live with him? I am very confused on this whoel situation and would realy lie some insight on wha you think i should do to handle this situation. Stop dithering around and just tell this guy what you want. Tell him you want a committed relationship and want to be called a girlfriend and not just a friend, and that you want to be in an exclusive, monogamous, romantic relationship.

Oh come on! Get over yourself. Think about this...So there's this guy, wait no idiot that you know has never had a long term relationship and introducing you as a ';friend';. Yet you still think that you should be even trying to date this guy? HELLLO? You just got out of a crummy relationship! If anything you're just being desperate. Get out of there and take sometime off from dating anyone.
