Okay so its like this, recently i have been talking to this close friend a lot. The only problem is that he is my best friends boyfriend. There relationshiphasn'tt been doing to well and she was considering dumping him after prom anyway...And me and him ended up talking about getting together after its ended between them. Thing is he still wants to make a go of it with her but shedoesn'tt with him. Then hes talking to me again as if hes really into me and just confusing me tbh. So we had this really open conversation with each other and the next day he sorta went all weird on me, should i even attempt to give it a go with him or what?A bad relationship situation, can anyone give me any advice?
I wouldn't if I was you, it will all go pear shaped. find someone new.A bad relationship situation, can anyone give me any advice?
Don't get stuck in the middle of this one. He's already told you that he wants to get back with the other girl, so leave it at at that. Yes, you can talk to him, but sooner or later you're going to get into the ';he said, she said'; situation. Keep it friendly and remember that the girl is your best friend and therefore can reasonably expect some loyalty and some sensitivity from you.
to be honest i tihnk you should stay away, he would only see you as a rebound as he obviously still likes your friend and will be hurt once its over. he needs time alone to be single and get himself sorted rather than jumping into another realtionship especially with his exes best friend. it would also cause problems with you and your friend, is he worth losing a friendship over? keep away until things are sorted if he still likes you a couple of months down the line then consider it, but dont let yourself be a rebound or lose your friend.
the only reason he whats to date you after prom is because he doesn't want to be seen single if he liked you then he would of ended it there. i think that it's going to be unfair on both you and your mate because he just seem like hes not interested in any of you
It sounds like he would only make a go of things with you if it doesnt work out with your best friend. Do you want to be second best? I sure wouldnt. And i would say he's not worth losing your best friend over him! x
