im dating this guy who has slept with a lot of girls he won't tell me how many cause he tells me that telling me would be un-gentleman like, but he told me it was somewhere between 1 and 35. He tells me he really likes me and isn't with me for sex and likes the fact that i'm a virgin. It's not that I don't believe him but i'm worried on how this will effect our relationship. Like he always knows what to say and do, am I different than the other girls or is this just something routine he says to all his girlfriends? I want to know the number of girls he's been with, if he's been checked and all the standard things a girlfriend should know. What should I do, I really like him but I want to be safe. Make sure you're safe when you do have sex.


You have a right to know when he was last checked for any STI's before you sleep with him. If you're comfortable enough with him to ask him straight out, that's good. If not, try asking if he knows how they check for STI's because you're curious about how it's done, then go on to ask if he has ever had a test done.





The amount of people he has slept with shouldn't effect your relationship so long as you're both committed. When a guy does have a high number to his name, don't rush into things. Make sure you are in a lasting relationship before you sleep with him.





He probably has a lot of experience with girls, which is why he seems to always know what to say or do. This isn't a bad thing.





Just take things slowly and don't sleep with him before you know for sure that he is in a relationship for you, not just for sex.

my now fiance didn't tell me how many girls he had been with until after i had sex with him. He was only my second partner and i was his somewhere between 30 and 40th which made me kind of Leary just ask him if he has been checked. if not let him know he needs to be just as a safety measure. he will respect your opinion if he is a good guy. and don't worry about how many girls he has been with that will just make you worry about if he is still screwing around with some of them. my guy turned out great. and he is clean! he really meant it when he said he wasn't with me for sex and if a guy can say that and you are a virgin then he's a great guy. just don't give up your virginity to just anyone. make sure its someone special waiting really does pay off. also who knows he could only have been with one person..
