I need some advice on how to save my relationship. Please? Best answer gets 10 points!?

(Sorry its so long) FIRST OFF! I don't want to hear any BREAK UP bull crap. Breaking up is NOT an option. So with that said, my problem is that I have a relationship with this guy. Its long distance (50 miles), we're both 17, and we've been together for almost a year now. Everything has been going great but I recently confessed that I had been lying our WHOLE relationship... It took a while but we got over it. RIGHT after he started healing over my lying, he found out that I lied again about me kissing his BROTHER... You people have to understand, I've learned my lesson. I feel like DIRT for all of this. And we're starting to get over all my mistakes... Unfortunately there are some major issues between us now. We are still MADLY in love and we are staying together no matter what. We just really need to solve our problems. We argue all the time and we keep saying stuff like ';Well fine, maybe we should just break up!'; but we never do. And we're never going to.

We love eachother WAY too much to let this relationship go. And since we've been through so much, and are still together... we know we're going to STAY together. After I told him that I lied, he was angry with me of course and confessed that he cheated on me COMPLETELY in the beginning of the relationship. He took my virginity and he was my first kiss... Thats not the reason i'm with him though. I love him so dearly and I completely forgave and forgot his mistakes and now he's forgiven and forgotten mine. But it seems like theres still some kind of problem between us. We're doing everything we can to figure it out and fix it but we just don't know. Part of it may be that he can't trust me. Part of it may be that he's losing feelings for me but he says hes not. I know I'M not. I told him I would change and I have... Its happening very slowly but he just makes me feel like crap every single day for everything I've done.

I'm kind of confused because I would never do that to him. I promise small things and he makes a HUGE deal out of it if I don't do it or if I say a small white lie its pretty much the end of the world. I get where hes coming from because of everything i've done. But it almsot seems like he doesn't want anything to get better. Whenever we talk about this I start crying my eyes out and start having an anxiety attack. He doesn't like telling me these things because hes afraid of my health but how are we supposed to fix this?! We talk about it all the time but all we do is talk and all he does is point out the things wrong with the relationship and what he wants... then he dumps it on me the responsability of fixing all of it. But we're in this together and we don't know what to do. We really need some help.

We really aren't going to break up so don't tell us to and don't say that since we're so young that it won't last. Thats not the answer I need to help me. I need some REAL help. Someone with experience in this part of life would be great. We just want advice on what our problem might be or what we need to do to fix it...I need some advice on how to save my relationship. Well let me just say this.. He seems to have caught you in a lot of lies..You also kissed his brother! If my girl kissed my brother I couldnt be with her straight up. I have to be able to bring my girl around my family without thinkin my girl is thinkin about my brother or something. That is just weird to me. You sound like you really do care about him though and that this is really hard on you. I hope you havent permantely damaged the relationship. You just have to keep trying. Just remember ';love makes the impossible possible.';
You need therapy - both of you. I do question your desire to be untruthful so much, and for over-stepping boundries with the brother. It sounds like you have some deep-rooted issues. I don't mean this as an insult, but rather that you should deal with them so you can have a healthy relationship. When you say there are no options that you are not breaking up. At 17 I can pretty much assure you that you won't even know this guy in ten years. Holding on to an unhealthy relationship like yours isn't the way to live. Seriously, please think about what it would take to stop the madness and learn to trust, love, and committ on a higher level. Get some help - you won't change without it. Good luck to you both.
Theres only one thing to heal your reationship and that's time. See how things go and try not to lie at all . He'll see that ur trying and change too :)

I need some advice...should I stay in this relationship????

I have been dating a guy since February. He calls me his gf, I have met his kids, his whole family %26amp; all of his friends. We are together almost all the time when we are not at work. He even says that he wants me to move in the next few months (we have to save up the reletting fee money since I'm under contract my apt) BUT the kicker is he says he is NOT my bf! WTH he says he doesn't want to feel 'tied down' %26amp; that bf/gf titles makes him feel that way...I have asked him why he wants me move in w/ him if he can't give me a little bit of committment by being my bf cause living together is a much bigger committment but he never can give me an answer. I know for a fact he isn't seeing anyone else or even looking he doesn't have time. If he isn't w/ me he is at work or w/ his kids (and even then I'm w/ him most of the time). This hurts me that he won't give me the committment I need its starting to cause a lot of problems for us..I need some advice...should I stay in this relationship????
there is no doubt you both have affection for each other. but is love enough to keep the relationship going? i know this maybe hard but give him some breathing room. maybe then will he realize how important you are to him. and if you are not, then count your blessings and move on.I need some advice...should I stay in this relationship????
Well if it was me, i wouldn't necessarily 'jump out' of the relationship. You should try talking to him more and let him know that your fully committed to this relationship. Let him know that moving in together is a big step, and if '; i can't even call you my bf, then why are we moving it w/ea. other?';

Its a big step, so just double check.
seeing your additional detail, I think he doesn't want to admit you're his gf bc he doesn't want to get hurt again (even though he is a guy..they have somewhat similar feelings as us)
I would give him a chance... He will learn to trust you over time... It's up to you whether or not you want to give him that time.
BY JUST ASKING FOR IT..IT'S TIME TO LET GO.. IF IT'S MEANT TO BE..NO SWEAT... IT WILL COME BACK...
i agree with facebook f :)

but it also kinda sounds to me like by letting you move in it brings you closer to his kids and things and you also get to get closer to them and everything else in his life. i think he just has a few trust issues that like facebook f said he should get over and by showing you care about him as much as you do will make things easier. i think you should tell him that he shouldnt call you his gf if its not returned by you calling him your bf, but tell him that in a not so threatening way. just let him know how you feel and realize that in the end its ONLY your choice. :)

good luck,
Thats a tough question. I am sorry you are stuck in this position. My first thought was oh hell no, then i read on, and i think he does want to be with you, he is just afraid of being all in it. He is afraid of getting hurt. I really think you should give this a chance, and if you really care for him, show him you wont hurt him. He has to gain trust with you, and it might take him a while.
good we are the same age. well from outside looking in, you seem to want a committed relationship. you pay bills together and you sleep together. understandable. but come on, if he don't want to talk about long term situations such as a simple title, then how is it going to turn out when something much serious come up. naturally b/f and g/f comes up. obviously he trusted you if you have been around his kids and his family. so its up to you take it slow and when it happens you both will be comfortable. or nag him to death and he get so irritated with you he might end the relationship. guys are alot different from us. but if you are not in a serious relationship. then yall are not ready for serious situations. such as paying bills, providing for each other. a relationship is a big commitment. can't work one sided. it takes two. and you can't ask these questions to a wall so he needs to compromise. i know it hurts cause you want to know! but it'll be okay. give it time. your heart knows. and listen to your first instinct. they are always right.
i think he has commitment issues maybe he is too scared to commit to a real longlasting relationship right now because of his previouse one you should talk to him about dealing with and getting over the previous commitment because if you get into a relationship wit hhim he can easily let u go

talk to him more and let him know that u are there to stay for the whole run

good luck

if he can not deal with it then you can not commit ur self in a relationship that may not last

all the best
If he came out of a bad relationship, it may take him some time to be able to commit again. The title boyfriend seems to be stressing him out. I don't think you should move in until he figures this out, but I don't think you need to break up. If the relationship is fine, then stick it out. I'm sure he'll come around.

Any advice on how to end a long-term relationship with as little pain as possible... & can we stay friends?

My boyfriend %26amp; I are highschool sweethearts %26amp; best friends, %26amp; as hard as it is for me to admit it, i've fallen out of love with him. I think the relationship has just run it's course..%26amp; i wouldn't take back a day of it. We have a very special bond %26amp; we've been able to teach each other important lessons so that just makes what i have to do so much harder. I'm 25yo this year %26amp; have an overwhelming urge to live my own life. I want to have my own place %26amp; my own friends %26amp; experience more of what life has on offer. I haven't found another man.. I don't want one right now, but it would be fun to flirt with a cute guy %26amp; to feel like I was attractive to men again. I still feel a huge amount of love for him, but i'm kidding myself to think i'm still in-love with him. I have started to leave the relationship mentally, but I can't seem to work out the best way to explain all this to him. It sounds so cliche... Does anyone have any experience or advice to share please?Any advice on how to end a long-term relationship with as little pain as possible... %26amp; can we stay friends?
Tell him what you actually feelAny advice on how to end a long-term relationship with as little pain as possible... %26amp; can we stay friends?
Just be honest with him. Let him know that you need some time for yourself.
If you tell him, you will break his heart and won't be able to remain friends, probably! Life doesn't have more to offer than true friendship - you can choose to love him for who he is and choose to serve him as his wife and mother of his children.
No matter what you do it is going to hurt, and the hurt is going to be on you. seriously.

When you get past this wanting to do something new, you will cry for the security of what you have now and so few have it.

Instead of thinking this way you need to be starting a college course or something.

let the new thing be in something good for your future not something that will destroy the few good things you will have in life.

good luck with your choices.

PS maybe think about making yourself sexy to him.
just be honest. as hard as it sounds. it is better to do it now before you end up marrying him out of fear of breaking his heart. if he truly loves you and i am sure he does, he will be hurt but will understand that you are doing what is best for you. Let him know that you need time and space to figure out who you are and that if you two are meant to be then it will be but until then, you need to be single and free to figure out your life. it may be better to just cut it off because i'm sure if you start dating other people, he will be hurt and deep down i am sure if he called you up and started talking about a woman he met, you would not want to hear about it either. so just let it go and see how you feel after a month or so. he will always be a part of you even if you two aren't boyfriend and girlfriend.
I was in a similar situation. I chose to leave my boyfriend, he took this so badly, and told me that I had broken his heart. He says that he doesn't want to be friends with me, and this hurts me so much. I hope you do not have the same problem and can still be friends, good luck!..x..
Oh yeah, I have that experience!! Not an easy one. But you have to be up front. I mean if the shoe was on the other foot you would want him to tell you. I mean dont lead him on any more then your doing. And explain your actions to him. Let him know it has nothing to do with wanting to be with some one else. You two probably just out grown each other. You never know, feeling might be mutual.......
My wife left me after twenty-six years and felt similar to how you do. i took it very hard, but all she could do is admit it was over and give me the time to get used to it.

As to whether you can remain friends will be up to him.
just say it not wokring but then it is so I was hopeing that It want heart are friend ship
Missy,

Just send him your written question above. It is clear and concise as well as decent. It may hurt but what you wrote is not mean or ill-willed. You are both young and he will recover, trust me. Good luck . . .

Anyone have good advice for getting over a bad relationship?

I was with him for 2 years. He lived in my house for 6 months and never gave me any money to help with the bills etc. He was a mooch and I know that but I am still sad over this. I kicked him out because he always had some excuse as to why everything bad was always someone elses fault. He had an explosive temper and was an all around *** but now I feel bad about him not having any money and being behind in his bills. He is coming Sunday morning to get the rest of his things and I don't want to cave in but I am afraid I will. How do I get past feeling sorry for him? I know it isn' my fault but I still feel bad about it. I should add here that he isn't asking to come back and is treating me like I am the one who caused the problems but I know him pretty well and just think he is going to say that he misses me. He only worked 3 months out of an entire year last year and most of that was a voluntary layoff. When I told him he needed to find a job he told me I was too focused on money. Ha!Anyone have good advice for getting over a bad relationship?
Pack his stuff and have it waiting by the door.

Make a time for him to show up to get his stuff.

Make plans for no more than 30 mins after his arrival..get a friend who thinks this guys is the scum of the earth to go with you on this planned event (movie, lunch, dinner, ANYTHING). In fact, have them at your apartment when he comes to pick his things up.

If he starts in on how he can't pay his bills, tell him he's too focused on money. Then kick him out the door.

Don't cave. He's a P.O.S. Everyone has issues with employment, but we all work through it..well, except for him.Anyone have good advice for getting over a bad relationship?
When you see him, just tell yourself ';I deserve better...I respect myself and I am not going to let my feelings overpower me.'; You HAVE to let him go. You can't live with someone who is just USING you. It isn't a healthy relationship. You need to be with someone who loves you and respects you and is willing to do ANYTHING for you. This guy you are talking about here..is the complete opposite. So I think it is time to move on.

Get yourself a big bowl of icecream and good book, 'cause honey, its time to move on.
before you go for a new guy, buy a TON of chocolate, and then take up running. it'll make u feel better.

-rasari
Just move on, and start a new life. Don't let him try to talk you into any kind of relationship when he comes to get his things. Remember yo was paying all the bills. You were. Grams
chocolates ice cream and candy then u should just try to be friends with him that always works with me and my ex's
ice cream and girl power music.

Power to you.
to get over this a start a new one quick.. it dose help ..
You do not need a man like that. When he comes over DO NOT give in, be strong and spend some time by yourself for a while. If he really does love you he will clean up his act and prove it to you and hopefully come back a better man, but until that happens, do for yourself. You're not his mum, partners should be equals in all aspects.
everytime a missing him minute starts ...start remembering the worse things you disliked about him most..then go down the list ...find things you enjoy to take up the time you get bored without him ...do the things you would have done if you wasn't with him i know there had to be some of them in 2yrs...and then start flirting with others that will keep you busy too .....good luck you will be OK just keep looking up and forward instead of back and down when he comes over to get his things or when you see him remember the truth is best and that is ...feeling sorry for someone isn't a reason to be with them...you are being unfair to that person and to yourself because if he settles for pity and you settle for a loser than you both lose because neither of you will find someone to love or that loves you in the way it should be...besides he might find a woman who can make him grow up and face responsibilities and if you keep him because of pity then you did him wrong too as he has been doing you.
girl let me tell ive been in your shoes my ex was an abuser though, but if he isnt wanting to get a job and keep one and wants to depend on you to bring in the money girl he will never change no matter how much he says ill change i promise just give me another chance. and no its not your fault that hes behind on his bills so when you bring that up to him he will always try to use that against you that your just focused on money just so he will be able to think its not my fault its hers since he always thinks nothing is his fault lol how many times ive heard that but any way, you are the only one working while he does nothing, you have every right to tell him stuff, i know its hard because he will come back with puppy dog eyes acting like hes sorry for what he has done or said and try everything to get you to give him another chance, i went through crap like this for 6yrs before i finally left my ex. the best thing is to try to be strong don't let him get to you or if you think you can't do that let someone in your family be there with you or let someone in your family be there and you leave or not be there and let them make sure he gets everything so there won't be a next calling saying i left something there can i come get it, cuz whats going to happen he will try that puppy dog look. but if you really don't want to be back with him i'd try one of those things either you not home and let a family member be there while he gets his stuff or have someone there with you for support for you and to help you stay strong, and feeling bad for him will eventually go away but thats the main thing you need to stay focused on is NOT TO FEEL SORRY FOR HIM AT ALL!!!! just think hes aways been like this since i met him why would he change now, he brought all this on his self with no ones help. well i hope i was able to help you out. good luck.
ima tell u this straight

if wat ur sayin is true, then just feeling sorry for him and giving him money for him too mooch off of u will make him think he can come back for more.

dont forget that he wasted 2 years of ur life by him being mean to u

u both need to man up

he has to accept that he screwed up so thats y he aint gettin no dough

and u have to detach urself from him or this will become an unhealthy habit

do the right thing

C
Have the best one night stand ever and move ON!!

I need some advice, I want to end a relationship but it's very hard, I don't know if I'm doing the right thing?

Here's the deal

I've been dating this girl for 2 years. She's been living here with me. In that 2 years time, she hasn't had a job. I've been helping her and she's not even my wife. She tells me she's looking, but she never makes any contacts and I tell her she needs to look harder, it's been 2 years. I know the Economy is bad. So I told her, she could maybe drop to something below her level of education. She says no, she went to college, and she's not going to be working at Target or Wal Mart.

I can pay the bills and everything, but I would really like some extra income coming in.

When I told her I think we should break up, she ask me, was it because she didn't have a job. I told her, that was one of the reasons.

Honestly, we been arguing a lot lately, and her not having a job is one of the reasons, maybe if she had a job, we wouldn't argue so much.

Secondly, she asked me was it because of her weight, and I'm like no, you weighed the same when I met you, and I happen to like big women. But she thinks those two factors are the reason I don't want her, because she doesn't have a job, and her weight, and that makes me feel guilty. I do care about her, and I don't want to hurt her. But:

What's a guy suppose to do?I need some advice, I want to end a relationship but it's very hard, I don't know if I'm doing the right thing?
Finding a job right now can be difficult, however....If she says she won't attempt to look for a job that pays less to help you out with the bills that is messed up. And she's been unemployed for 2 years? She could at least found something.

You love her, but I think she's taking advantage of a Good thing. I could be wrong, just stay on here and give her a little more time.I need some advice, I want to end a relationship but it's very hard, I don't know if I'm doing the right thing?
Wow, you need to end this relationship NOW. This girl is making a fool out of you. I'd never tolerate someone not contributing to expenses, and she's just lazy and snobbish if she thinks working at a Target is beneath her. Honestly, is this the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with AND have children with? Speaking of... you better run before she manages to trap you by getting pregnant. I don't mean to be harsh - but I can't believe you're putting up with this just because you don't want to hurt her. She's the one hurting you!! Tell her tonight - tell her that you'll always be a friend, but that your relationship is over and she MUST move out by November 17th, or you will. Stick with that plan no matter how many tears or promises she makes. And whatever you do, don't have sex with her!!

I'm in a long-distance relationship with a guy I really love. Need advice?

He and I really care deeply for eachother. I've never loved anyone or anything more, but this time away from him is killing me!!!!!!!!!! What I want to know is how do you deal with the pain of a long-distance relationship and balance dealing with your current life stresses on top of that?!?! This is really bothering me... any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time!!!I'm in a long-distance relationship with a guy I really love. Need advice?
I am also in a long distance relationship. My fiance lives 2.5 hours away. We keep in contact on a daily basis by phone and spend every weekend together. Sure it does get lonely at times but these times are alright as it just shows how much we mean to each other. There are many life stressers sure but we can discuss them when we are talking to one and other. If you believe in yourself and your partner then only good will come of this relationship. Best of luck to you.I'm in a long-distance relationship with a guy I really love. Need advice?
I've been with my g/f for 3 years and half that time we lived in different states.

It was really tough but you have keep thinking positively about it and realize that you should be happy because you have found somebody that you really love. When you are feeling down just think to yourself how lucky you are.

Also, we called each other everyday and text messaged constantly which helped alot.
